What to expect:
- sessions begin with guided relaxation
- then we’ll warm up with some gentle yoga poses
- you’ll receive clear direction throughout to guide you through yoga poses
- you’ll be encouraged to work at your own level and be given options to modify poses to best suite your range of motion and level of experience
- sessions conclude with ‘savasana’, a time of quiet relaxation
- when you sign up for classes you’ll notice there are ‘Fundamentals of Yoga’ and ‘Self Care and Stretch’. Both are suitable for all levels & newcomers and follow the outline described above, with ‘Self Care and Stretch’ focusing more on relaxation & meditation and ‘Fundamentals of Yoga’ more on yoga postures.
Equipment:
- you must bring your own yoga mat
- water recommended
- wear clothing that you can comfortably move in
