Yoga & Reiki have been wonderful parts of my life for 12+ years. Both practices have made my life better in so many ways and I teach to share the same joy with others
I grew up in Connecticut on the Northeast coast of the USA and started to learn about Yoga & Reiki there. Studies brought me to Scotland where I met my husband and decided to stay and, eventually, become a dual citizen. For the past ten years, I have called Scotland my home and enjoy living in beautiful coastal Fife. Through my time working and studying, Yoga & Reiki were always important parts of my physical & personal development; ‘One day, I would like to teach’ I would say to myself. Then ‘that day’ became now and I love it!

For me, the ideal yoga practice helps us sit, stand, move, and live with greater ease, less tension, and more joy. There are many types of yoga – I am a Hatha Yoga teacher. Hatha is a Sanskrit word, the ancient language of India, where yoga originated, that means Sun & Moon. So its all about balance, between activity and rest, between right and left side of the body, between the body and the mind, and also we do literally do balancing poses (!). In Hatha yoga, we take things at a slow & steady pace, taking our time getting in and out of poses, moving mindfully so we can listen to our bodies and avoid injury. My classes are safe and relaxed places to learn about yoga & yourself.
